Open Question: How can i change the buttons on my laptop?

Like F2 and F3 change the brightness of the screen; F5 is rewind; F9 and F10 are volume. However, something like F5 is pause/play. In order to refresh the page i have to press control+F5. is there a way to change it so that pressing control+F5 pauses/plays and just F5 refreshes the page? Sorry if it's confusing, thanks for any help
