Hey! it depends on which operating system you are using.....With the details that you provided i was able to make out it is a hp cp1700 inkjet printer? and have provided the link below

instruction :
1. go to the link
2. choose our OS
3. follow what the page asks you to do....if you are using win 7 then drivers come preinstalled you just have configure them manually....for those instructions, on step three above choose the link on the web page which says description.... and simply follow them step by step.

but there are other printer too namely 1700d and 1700ds....if you printer is one of these then follow the link below choose ur printer and follow the above instructions as it is.
