Open Question: Why is my computer locking up?

2:45 PM Posted by Nadim

Yesterday when I got up I brought my computer out of sleep mode and tried to refresh my firefox page and it got stuck loading forever and I couldn't use Ctrl+Alt+Delete or anything. I had to turn my computer off at the power supply because I couldn't even use the power button to turn it off. I restarted in safe mode and ran a full Malwarebytes, Microsoft Security Essentials, Spyware bot, Advanced System Care and even a full Smart Defrag, but only found a few ad spyware and nothing else. I remembered seeing a Yahoo messenger error when my computer crashed, so I uninstalled it, and sure enough, my computer booted just fine.

This morning I got up and brought my computer out of sleep mode and tried to refresh my firefox page and it got stuck loading for ever again. I had to turn it off at the power supply, but when I tried to restart it it did like it did yesterday if I didn't boot in safe mode. After I enter my pass word on the log on screen I go to my desk top, and it starts loading my Icons and then it freezes and gets stuck on an infinite load and I can't do anything. My computer isn't even a year old yet, what is the problem?
