The link I gave you shows refurbished Macs. Just in case you don't know what those are, they're computers that Apple sent to other companies and the other companies just open them, and sent them back. Because they've been opened, they are sold for a lower price.

My Macbook is a refurbished one, and I've had it for a year and a half with absolutely no issues. If you want a normal Macbook and you have a $1000 dollar budget, well, this is a great computer for exactly that price.

Also, Macbook Airs are also $999. Those are really cool looking computers, but they have very little free space, so I don't recommend getting that if you're looking to use it for documents and music and other stuff that takes up space.
