Ive tried to change the resolution setings but that only made it worse on my laptop an not much better on the tv. Can anyone help me with this?Ive tried changing the aspect ratio that didnt do anything.31 minutes ago

Instead of changing the Laptop resolution try changing the TV's aspect ratio. By default it is probably 16:9. Try other settings until the full latop screen is visible. Since they are different Aspects there will be black bars surrounding the image when you get the right aspect but nothing should be cut off. Try 16:10 if there is an option for that.
