Open Question: Should this be happening?
I also can't seem to download my photoshop free download from the intuo website and they refuse to give me a security key for my corel painter download. I'm gonna check up with the intuo people on this, but has anyone else had this problem? Or does anyone else know how to get a serial number for corel painter?
Thanks

Unless of course your planning on joining the armed services, you can take this as a prep-bag for carrying that 50lb backpack.
Anyway the biggest problem with giving you advise, you never really said what your using it for. Because if your not going for games. Then you could go for a Vaio which are thin and portable.
Or go for a Mac Book Pro, which are also light, and look elegant.
If you want something more high-end go for a Asus ROG series.
Or if your intrested in making your own custom laptop try

Open Question: What is a good apple laptop?
Macbook= usually for students who can't afford a macbook pro, same or more storage than macair, runs slightly better.
Macbook pro= get this if money isn't an issue, best macbook around and will easily run photoshop for you. These can get to $2500 though, so it gets very pricey and imo isn't worth the money. If you don't have to buy a mac, consider the lenovo think pad series.
Good luck

Open Question: Is there an easy way to see if you can play a video game according to your graphics card?
for example is it an Nvidia 280.
Problem is you need to have basic idea.
The Order of Cards from oldest to newest series is 8000, 9000, 200, 300, 400, 500
Then look for the 2nd number
From 1 - 4 its considered low end cards. Which are not really ment for gaming. Lowest for gaming would be a 4. [Remember I am talking about the 2nd number such as 240, 440, the 2nd number]
5 - 6 are considered mid range cards which are ok for gaming
7 8 9 are the best.
Same rules apply for ATI based on first and 2nd number.
So for example Say it says minimum requirements is a 8800 GT. Nvidia. Then if you have a 240 GT you can play. But if you have a 8600 you can't. But if you have a 210 you can't either because
8800 GT is a high end card 210 you can't pllay games on. 240 is still a low end card, but its the most basic card ment for gaming.
Its all a bit confusing I know
UPDATE:
Ohhh you have a inbuilt.... ya... sorry no hope.
Its like bragging you have a car, and you find out its like a Fiat Multipla [http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/a… Its been rated one of the worst cars of all time :P Just see the picture .Its just awsome.
Anyway ya its inbuilt meaning its touch and go. Most likely its go and hopeless. You can play basic games like Plants vrs Zombies, or Torchlight, That doesn't take advantage of Shaderss, Lighting, Bump mapping etc. But any game which does most likely won't work. Or you will have to play with all the settings off.
Never buy inbuilt cards they are curse on gaming :P

If it's a virus then the files you saved could've been corrupt too.
You should post another question but mention your OS in it too...
