I recently tried to download a crack to activate MS Office 2007. I guess is was malware because after i ran it my laptop restarted and wasn't to boot up. The Startup Repair kept on popping until I decided to restore it to its factory setting. All the factory installation went smooth until it finished. So it had to restart and it did but after a while the system would not respond. The HDD activity indicator would stop flashing. Well then I started Windows in Safe mode with out any crashes. I use Gateway's recovery manager.

My laptop:
Gateway NV59C series
Windows 7 Home Prem. 64-bit
Intel Core i3 350M w/ Intel HD Graphics.
4GB RAM

the system seems much slower now.
Might it be a driver problem??
