I need help making my Samson g track mic work on windows xp SP2 ( i have modified it to display sp3 though) ..

Anyways , i tried to use my samson mic on a windows 7 computer and it worked perfectly , i need to make it work to record today ! i need answers fast ! help ! i can't adjust the sensitivity and all !!! i can't make it record at all , please give links to what you think might help me out !!
