by Matthew Member since:May 22, 2010Total points:224 (Level 1)The most important feature of a computer system in regards to processing high end graphics, is a graphics processor, of which your HP 4420 has none. It uses the Intel integrated HD chipset which means it can run video playback, display your screen, things like that. At this stage in time you can also load and play some games made about 5 years ago, back to 10 years ago. Modern games are built with modern hardware loads in mind. Your laptop is neither modern nor built for gaming, so your options will be very limited. You should be able to play plenty of Flash and Java games though, which you can find hundreds of thousands of online, and can kill many hours of entertainment. I would suggest you go that route. You will have the added benefit of not having to load anything on your laptop's hard drive. Your laptop is safe, games can't kill it unless you have defective hardware, and in that case, doing anything with your laptop could kill it.You need to always compare the games system requirements to those of the lap top before buying and installing. You did not post the installed graphics/video card chip set but most likely it is not a dedicated graphics/video card needed for the best gaming.

I can't tell you what kind of games you can play without know what kind of Graphics Card you have. That is the most important component.
