Open Question: Laptop battery goes down so quick, help please?

John Honda Member since:February 05, 2011Total points:73 (Level 1)Hi guys, bought my current laptop about 2 years ago its a HP. I have to charge it everytime I use it or the battery will be dead in a matter of 10min even though its fully charged. So if I dont plug it in while using it, it will be off in 10min. When it isnt plugged in the brightness is dim looking, and when it is plugged in the brightness goes alot brighter which is easier to see. The other day I forgot to switch the power on and it shut down, when I turned it back on it said something about my battery. Didn't quite read the whole thing because it went away right after I got there. Any ideas on what might be causing this? ThanksAnswer Question
