Open Question: Is there any diagnostic utility that would test my motherboard and CPU?

Member since:June 19, 2009Total points:72 (Level 1)My asus A6r that I have for over 4 years doesn't want to load OS,it freezes on logo screen and keyboard together with touch pad don't work,so I can not enter BIOS.I attempted different bootable CDs including Windows xp recovery CD,Ubuntu,knoppix but they all require working keyboard in order to proceed installing.I'm guessing it might be mother board or CPU but I'm not sure.IS there any diagnostic utility that is self contained and doesn't require me pressing any keys?Or maybe you know what's wrong with that laptop?I tried to plug in usb keyboard but it also doesn't work.I would appreciate any ideas.Thanks a lot in advanceAnswer QuestionBe the first to answer this question.
