Open Question: HP Photosmart C7250 All-in-One, help scanning a picture into the computer?

I want to scan a picture I drew into the computer, I have a HP Photosmart C7250 All-in-One.
I put the picture in the scanner, went to the scan menu, then selected the option that says "scan to computer". This error message pops up when I select that.

What is that supposed to mean? And what am I supposed to do?
