Open Question: hp dv6t quad core edition 2011?

Tj Member since:January 28, 2010Total points:354 (Level 2)i order this HP DV6TQE 20110 on HP.COM and i get it customize with 1080p screen and 2gb ati radeon graphics card.the laptop do have the 2gb ati radeon upgrade install but i can not switch the graphics card when i want to.it can only play on Intel HD and thats sucks.HP try to fix it 2 times on the phone with me via Remote Access but i have no luck,they told me the computer will not show what graphics card its running on.can i get some help on how to change the graphics card to play games?i uninstall the Intel HD already and HP try as well,the 2gb ati radeon still don't work,it can not switch to it.11 minutes agoAnswer Question by Tony Member since:May 15, 2008Total points:978 (Level 2)So what you are trying to say is you don't want to use the Intel HD and you want to use the 2 GB radeon. Try removing it, Go to start>Right click my computer> Device manager> Display and adapters> Right click on Intel HD and uninstall. If screen goes blank then let it be and a few seconds later you will probably have a huge screen. Right click your Desktop and set the Resolution to whatever you want afterwards if your screen decides to respond
