It's a Gateway GT5404. The Gateway Support site shows that, according to the specifications, I can only upgrade to 2gb of RAM. Considering it's a dual core processor that came stock with Vista, this somehow seems incorrect. Can anyone confirm this? I've seen on a RAM site before that it should hold up to 4gb like a friend told me it should but can't find the link now. I just don't want to buy something that won't work, and would like some professional insight if possible.

Also, what speed of DDR2 RAM can I go up to? Is there a limit or something? Thanks for your time and help.
