Open Question: Broken Kobo ereader screen?

Yesterday i pulled it out of my bag, turned it on, to see the screen damaged with vertical lines running across, at some parts it almost looks smashed. I contacted Kobo, explained my problem, and they told me they will send me a box to ship my old one in and then they will send me a new one. Has anyone ever had this problem? Do they really send you a NEW one like in the box etc.? I really want to know...Answer QuestionBe the first to answer this question.
