My laptop monitor is 1366 x 768 Widescreen. I have pictures that I took with my camera that are all 3648 x 2736 and pictures that my brother took with his camera that are all 2048 x 1360.

When I use my brothers pictures as my laptop wallpaper (set to centered), it's great, centered and no distortion. When I use my pictures as wallpaper (set to centered) the picture gets centered and has black space on the right & left side. If I set it to "stretch" it gets stretched and looks distorted.

I don't understand why this is happening, since my pictures are a bigger resolution than my brothers. I would think my pictures would behave the way his do when I set them to my wallpaper.

Anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening on my laptop when I use my pictures?? Thank you.
