No this will damage the battery shortening the life, one day you will go to use it and as soon as you unplug the cable it will turn off, your meant to cycle the battery which means once charged use it till about 5% and recharge, if you leave it on charge so you get the laptop to run faster then you can set it to performance mode even when its on battery in power options in the control panel.
