Open Question: Computer making noise?

The only things that could make any kind of noise are the moving parts.
Fans in the power supply, video card, and mainboard. Check these. Stop them while the computer is running with a pen (NOT FOR LONG!!) to see if it is them.
Disk drives could be at fault, too. Check hard drive. Only way to "stop it" is to disconnect from the power and data cables. Easy enough to tell
DVD drive. Check to see if theres a disk in there. If there is, remove it and listen.
