The sound that plays when my computer starts skips, songs and videos I play in windows media player sometimes become realllly distorted- low pitch and sllllooooowww- like when you play something in slow motion- this is especially the case with videos. Also a problem when I play videos in my internet browsers. I have windows 7 is worse when a lot is running I haven't downloaded any programs recently... What in the world is wrong with my computer? PLEASE give me any advice...Answer Question

Maybe, but that just means OpenGL and DirectX are somehow conflicting. (Although DirectX is uninstallable. It is part of the OS)

OpenGL has higher performance than DirectX but has certain lighting/clipping problems.
DirectX looks the best but runs the worst.
What version of DX do you have?

You should try updating your directx.

What graphics are distorted? I play on OpenGL normally.
