How old and dated is your computer?
Do you know how much ram or the processor it has if not then i suggest you go on Crucial.com and use their system checker. They will recommend and upgrade for your computer. As your problem is very likely to be that your system does not have the capability to run the programs.

Also check to ensure that your Hard Drive has enough space and you are saving it to a valid location.

Or try saving it to a USB memory stick if you have one.
