Open Question: What type of laptop should I buy?

Barbara Member since:April 19, 2011Total points:94 (Level 1)I would like to purchase a laptop for the purpose of watching all of my favorite tv shows and movies via graboid etc.. The laptop would connect to my 60" and 42" tv's via HDMI. What I am not sure of is picture quality, do I need to make sure that I get a certain type of processor or hardware? Also sound? does the sound transfer with the HDMI? I have the 60" as well as a bluray player connected to a bose radio/cd player. Both tv's are 2010 models 60" is LG and 42" is Samsung. I have always liked Toshiba laptops....they have always lasted years in my house, I am not looking to spend a fortune, the only thing I will use this machine for is watching television.
