Open Question: My laptop/WI-FI signal is acting up! help!!?
It is a problem with the wireless router in your home it sends out the signal and if the signal is not strong enough or the router is not in a central are of the home it will show a weak or no signal or drop the connection at times. If the router is not a newer one it may not be Windows 7 compatible or the better and newer N version of router that has a stronger wireless signal. Move ck]lose to the router signal strength should show excellent move away until it shows low this is the farthermost you can be and connect but will loose connection at times.
Fix: move wireless router to central area of home or buy a new and better wireless router with the N designation and Windows 7 compatible.
