Open Question: My computer only works in SAFE MODE!?

I've tried everything to fix it and I don't want to have to wipe it clean.
Do you think if I tried removing all my software (like iTunes, etc.), but not my personal picture or document files, that it will start up? I just need to know this. :/ Please and thank you!
