I'd say only if money isn't a factor. I'm on a macbook pro right now that cost $1200, and only has half the specs of a dell inspiron with twice the specs and have the cost. With macs you don't have to worry about getting a virus, but unless you want to pay a TON of money you're specs will suck. Macs don't come with a lot of memory, and installing windows via bootcamp will take up a lot of that memory.

The only reason I'm using my macbook is because I'm programming in Objective C

I've tried playing games on here, but it's much harder. If you're primary use for your computer is gaming, I'd say stay with windows os.
