Open Question: How can I fix my laptop?

It easily shuts down due to the blue screen of death, so i have to open it in safe mode without volume=(. It won't connect to my tv through a vga cable, even though other laptops do(I've checked).Also the power cable is loose, and something is wrong with the battery, so it always has to be plugged in, so i had to duct tape the powercable to it. It's really slow, and I know somewhat about computers, so I have done system restores, and virus checks and clean outs, but nothing works! I won't be able to afford to replace it=(Answer Question
by Jovi Member since:December 08, 2009Total points:176 (Level 1)your last resort is to format it it always gets rid of every problem except hardware problems and hardware problems can cause the blue screen of death but giving that it's a laptop it highly unlikely
