That would be pretty awesome if we could just "flick" notes from our ipad to a computer, but I don't think that's possible yet. What you can do is keep certain files in sync between your iMac and ipad using programs such as Sugarsync or Dropbox. Regarding "cool apps" that you can use between your ipad and iMac, there's an app called Air Display that allows you to use your iPad as a second monitor. If you have an airpoprt express or extreme, you can also Airplay your videos from your iPad to your iMac.

There's really a bunch of stuff for the iPad but the best way to really find what you like is to actually know what you need and are looking for.
