Open Question: How to repair recovery partition from recovery disc in a Sony Vaio netbook?

ask me Member since:May 03, 2011Total points:95 (Level 1)Hi! Please help. I tried to restore my netbook to factory settings using recovery disc. I upgraded my OS from Win XP to Win 7. The reason why I am restoring to factory settings because, for unknown reasons, Win 7 didnt allow me to install MS Office 2007. Going on, during recovery process, it always returned an error "recovery partition is active, please remove disc and click cance to restartl" and I have to start the recovery process again... After reboot, same message appeared, and I there was only 1 choice - complete recovery option only as the recovery partion is active. What should I do? By the way, the model is VPCW115XG.
