The printer is a HP Photosmart C4680 C4600 Series. When I click on Add a Printer on the Control Panel it tells me to insert the floppy disc. This computer doesn't have a disc outlet like my old Gateway laptop does. Is there something I can buy like a tower for desktop computers and have it for this laptop?Answer Question

by lorna Member since:June 29, 2011Total points:119 (Level 1)unfortunately there is not much you can do, the RAM is already at max and the best you could upgrade is the CPU to a Intel Atom Processor N470 1.83GHz and a hard drive upgrade to any 2.5" you like

I have just built a rig, excluding memory & graphics card and just wanted to test it, I connected it up as per my old rig that worked perfect and...NOTHING my monitor doesnt even recognise the pc's plugged into it ?

Ive built
Core i7 2600k CPU
Asrock H61M-S Mobo
powered by a corsair 700w Psu

I havnt put in memory or graphics card as Ive just ordered them, dont even know if it will boot without memory ?

forgot to mention that i do have a 1TB HDD and dual layer DVD connected., the pc is connected to my monitor via VGA ?

I have an HP officejet 4500
It will print horribly but it still prints
It can fax
It can't scan!!!! I have an assignment to upload my my freaking scanner wont work! There are no error messages on my computer or anything it just prints out a blank page. I can't make copies of my papers or scan them onto the computer and yet there is no error message. What do I do?Ok nvm - I just tried it and on my printer there is a message that says no scan options... now what?56 seconds ago
