Open Question: Distorted Sound window 7 lenovo laptop?

The sound that plays when my computer starts skips, songs and videos I play in windows media player sometimes become realllly distorted- low pitch and sllllooooowww- like when you play something in slow motion- this is especially the case with videos. Also a problem when I play videos in my internet browsers. I have windows 7 is worse when a lot is running I haven't downloaded any programs recently... What in the world is wrong with my computer? PLEASE give me any advice...Answer QuestionBe the first to answer this question.

Open Question: How do I fix a mic sound problem on my PC?
Make sure drivers are up to date. Try running skype in compatability mode. Right click the skype icon to do that. Also try to go on skype website and see if the mic is able to work on it.

there also might be a posibility that there is an external source causing the feedback something that might be plugged into the computer such as a guitar.
