Open Question: Can an operating system effect printer or printers ink?

Before this I replaced the printer with cannon primxa 760 and kodak and everytime I replace the black ink, it's gone.. People from canon said its a senor or printer ink heading issue. Could my operating system causing this? Is there a setting I can fix use so I not buying black ink every week? Are hp's the best printers??Answer Question

1. Run the printer's print-head cleaning utility. The location of this will vary depending on the printer, but it can usually be found on your computer under "Contol Panel" and "Printers," or in the case of printers with LED screens, on the printer's menu itself.
2. Remove the cartridge from the printer if the print-head cleaner doesn't cause ink to flow. Soak it in a bowl or sink filled with enough warm water to immerse the print head nozzles, long enough to see ink beginning to dissolve and flow into the water. Alternately, you can soak a cloth in warm water and use it to clean the nozzles until you see ink begin to flow.
3. Thoroughly dry the nozzles with a soft, lint-free cloth once the cleaning process is complete.
4. Replace the cartridge into the printer and run the printer's print-head cleaning utility.
5. Repeat the cleaning procedure if the cartridge still doesn't print. Reinstall and once again run the print-head cleaning utility.

Open Question: Just upgraded my computer, yet my warcraft won't load. is it my operating system?
I have today bought a 400 watt power supply and a GeForce-GT430 Graphics card for my Hp pavillion to upgrade it so i can play World of warcraft, however... I am unable to get into my characters.. Its really upsetting me.. and I sent bliz my system infp the dxdiag, and the ms[what ever] and they said by looking at my info they dont see why i cant get into wow... Now i have all my drivers up to date, and everything... but i was told it may be my operating system...
So how do irepair my operating system if its the reason why i cant log onto my WoW characters.. ~_~ I really want to play.. I cant find my disc sides having a windows vista anytime upgrade disc 32bit english... But my system is a 64 bit...
please help..
